We are still alive and well and we will start blogging again! I must apologize for the lapse, but we can come up with any number of excuses. Forget the excuses, we’re back!!
We left Florida heading for the Pennsylvania Poconos for a workamping assignment at the Timothy Lake Outdoor World Resort. We had a great winter in FL, but all good things must end. We stopped at the Mid-Atlantic resort The Oaks at Point South in Yemassee, sc for a couple of nights. Nice small park with lots of trees.
As I said, lots of trees
We also added some new chairs in place of the disintegrating Lazy Boy recliners we got 3 years ago
Our route took us through Alexandria, VA to bypass Washington, DC. Below is the George Washington Masonic Temple in Alexandria.
We stopped in Maryland for a few days to be with our youngest son Matt and his family before proceeding on to our jobs.
What an awesome sunrise at the Bar Harbor RV Park.
Our granddaughter Kirstin and “Bailey” were happy to see us.
Our son Matt and daughter in law Shelley
Kathy with our grandkids Nathan aka The Nathanator and almost teenager Kirstin.
We had quite an enjoyabl and also uneventful trip of about 1150 miles. We will be here at Timothy Lake South until Labor Day. We’ll make a stop in Indianna to get some work done on our motor home and then start the winter migration. First to Florida for doctors and then we are heading back west!.
Thanks for checking in with us. My intention is to make at least weekly posts and hopefully more often.
